around here, at least, you couldnt count on a 300 dollar exellent beretta. maybe more like 400. for 500 you could get something newish

Galyans in Buffalo has them new for $500-$590 or so depending on style (vertec or normal) and finish (stainless or blued)

Around $550 for new, around $300 for a good used one. It's a great gun, you won't regret getting one, new or used.

I like the Beretta 92FS'. From Beretta factory the 92s come with 2 mags, some unscrupulous dealers remove the 2nd mag and give a better price. Just be sure to inquire before signing on the dotted line.
