Call me a math idiot. What would the margin of error by percent to this.... 2 errors out of 3900 tasks?

2/3900             5.128205128205 -4

[#2]
87% exactly

no enough info on what "margin of error" means.

2 . 3900 = 1 / 1950

thats a 0.0005128205 percent error ratio per occurrence.... but "margin" may mean something else.

I thought the equation was this:

2/3900 = x/100

Solve for X

Your success % would be 1-your failure %

EDIT:  My reading comprehension failed me.  Correct answer it "costing the company money".

this.

margin of error != rate of error.

edit:  should have read further.

If "someone" is costing someone else money or creating a liability issue, it's not so much how many times "someone" done it, but how much is it costing the employer vs what "someone's" value is to them.

Statistics?
How to Calculate the Margin of Error for a Sample Proportion

I don't think you have given enough information for the problem.
All the info I find has a population, sample size and confidence level, and probably in the problem.
