does anyone know if a better trigger is available for an M1A something adjustable to almost 2 pounds or less??

You might try one of the smiths or go to the gunsmithing part.

The short answer is no, and for a very good reason. A two pound pull on a semi auto rifle is an open invitation to accidental doubles and triples.  If you know what you're doing you can get the stock trigger down to 4-5 pounds, w/a very clean break. Go any lighter than that and you're asking for trouble.
