this is a well known fact but i was wondering if its possible to resore heat through the head. the reason for me asking is because i got soaked today at work and was wet/damp for the better part of 8 hours. as soon as i got home i took a very hot shower to take the chill off just wondering if body heat is restored through the head as well.

a hot water enema helps restore the core temperature.

heat doesn't necessarilly escape from the head anymore than other areas. the scalp and face are however a bit more vascular allowing more blood to contact outside temperatures quicker than say your hands and feet.

if cold is an issue you won't get enough surface area from just your head to raise the core temp. The entire body or at the very least the torso needs to warmed.
