| Would flashbangs do anything to zombies, if so what would it do? |
|
I think flashbangs would have minimal effects, due to the higher brain functions being shut down. They seem to have only the most primitive of thought processes going, food to eat, roaming to find food, and of course aggression. They of course may have an affect on the eyes, especially in the dark, giving you the chance to escape. Zeds already walk around disorientated and staggering, only having purpose when something living (food) is around.

Zombies wouldn't realize that they're stunned. They just wouldn't be able to see or hear. Could be useful in escaping, but in the event of an escape situation, your resources and energy should be used towards RUNNING. Not stopping and throwing. Now, if you're dead set (pun FULLY INTENDED!) on using them, you could probably get better use in throwing them away from you, and distracting the zombies, as they're primarily event-based "thinkers." Throw the grenade as far as possible, and watch them hobble towards it.
Could also be used to stun possible pillagers, allowing you to escape or subdue them. |

what movie was that when they used fireworks to distract zeds while they went scavenging for food and booze? flashbangs would work...they worked on me.LOL think they would serve a purpose and really liked the early warning system idea. That would be "Land of the Dead".....POS that it was....but I did LOVE "Dead Reckoning"....awesome Z-Day ride! As for the fireworks....I dunno man! |

Might work on the Zs with working eyes, but if they don't have eyes, it won't affect them. Prob same with flashbangs. We'll just have to wait and see late next year. |
