I shot one once, neat but not worth my money. If you have the cash, why not.

If I were to get a 5.7 long arm (and I'm not), I'd get a PS90, preferrably SBR'd.

A 5.7 AR falls squarely into the "cool but pointless" category in my book.

If 5.7 ammo gets cheaper than .223 then it might be practical for a plinker. Could be cool for a varmint gun. Ideal for zombies (light weight, better than .22 for penetrating skulls, 50 rd mags) if you thought you could scrounge some from the local PD once they got infected.
