how did so many of us survive childhood without helmets and stuff?

Now your toddler can explore and enjoy its newfound mobility around the house and yard with head protection without worrying their parents. The Thudguard hat is a revolutionary product, an infant safety hat designed to help absorb and reduce the impact of falls from a child's own height and lessen the chance of head injury.

My MIL actually thought I should do that with my children when they were little

What's next?  When your kid asks what hot is, we won't be allowed to put their hand on the stove?

I'd like a couple in multicam for my bug out bag, so my cats will be tactical yet safe.

The only time I ever wore a helmet was when I played baseball.

I never wore elbow pads either!

The scars really don't bother me...

I have a 13 month old nephew.

I fear for what kind of world he's going to grow up in.

Needs a chinguard for when they faceplant on the hard tile.

Our little guy has busted his lip several times now,  learning to walk is a bitch.

whats the movie... idiocracy.
there comes a point where "protecting" the dumb and the weak will hurt our society and species, as we are robbing darwin of doing his work.

Aren't toddlers designed to hit their heads? Kids are resilient.

I'd have to shave my head to remind myself of all the stitches I got when I was a kid.

And they bounce also.
I could see a tardler helmet if there were tons of sharp edges around head height but honestly if that is the case kids should be around it.

In the words of Bubblegum Tate: "You are all fools of the highest order!"

Also, if they made those helmets that looked like an M1 steel pot, or like a k-pot or a fuzzy pickelhaube, you guys'd be on it like white on rice. Rich, racist rice! It'd be awesome!

Yes, they were born with a skull.  God created the skull to protect the brain. Works well.

Our daughter liked to look at us for the first few times she started running, you know, NOT looking ahead.  Ran straight into a sharp cornered bannister, huge knot, almost broke the skin.  She started looking straight ahead without much parental intervetion.

I can see a skull cap if you are letting your 2 year old skateboard off the roof, but normal life??  I guess there is a sucker born every minute.
