for this poll, cheating includes ANY physical and MOST inappropriate verbal communications.

For a SO, its cheating if either party is under the impression/assumption that it is a monogamous relationship.

How often is this type of poll done here?

Negative...
Link Posted: 7/21/2008 8:04:05 AM EDT
no way
Link Posted: 7/21/2008 8:04:06 AM EDT
No. My wife deserves a man who will be true, and I'm that man.

+1

Only I'm talking about my wife, not yours.

If you got the best...why mess with the rest

Is this the best topic of conversation you can come up with?! Jeez!
Link Posted: 7/21/2008 8:13:20 AM EDT
No, I'm not that type of guy. My wife on the other hand didn't have the same standards for herself.
Link Posted: 7/21/2008 8:14:23 AM EDT
ABSOLUTELY NOT.

It isn't my nature. My wife deserves better. I deserve better. I also have to live with myself.

There is very little to gain (some immediate pleasure) and TONS to bad that comes from infidelity.

I don't sleep in a bed of pit vipers. I can, but don't.

I can do heroin, but don't.

Same here. I lucked out and got a good one.

I do look at some of the other women my friends have married and think to myself "damn I'm glad I didn't get her or I would be a cheater".

Did your "how many of you have stolen a car?" thread tank?
Link Posted: 7/21/2008 8:15:49 AM EDT
Yes.

If my right hand is being a bitch, my left is always ready for some action.

Seriously, I've never cheated in a relationship. I have no problem breaking something off if I find myself interested in someone else...but, then again, I'm not dumb enough to get married.

Cheating is a sign of weak character.

See my comments in the last thread that posed this poll question.

just wondering as I see lots of divorce threads here.

I also just about cannot believe the amount of first-hand experiece that posters here have with seeing people who are abusing welfare. The number of those stories are just about unreal.

maybe ill do a penis size poll next

No fucking way.

Its a horrible thing to do to a person.

It is a character flaw. I really couldn't have said it better.

No.
Link Posted: 7/21/2008 8:26:17 AM EDT
Ah, no. DH and I both own 1000+ yard rifles. If either of us cheated... we'd never hear it coming.

That about sums it up.

Never been married , and been single for about two years now.........but I know the heartache of an unfaithful woman.Trust is under rated these days.

I wouldnt do it to a girl I loved, and never have..........Id break it off first .

No. If I was not interested in her anymore I would just break it off instead of going behind her back like a coward.

"for this poll, cheating includes ANY physical and MOST inappropriate verbal communications."

And thank you for clarifying that. Too many regard the 'Clinton' type of inappropriate behavior as acceptable.

Hands off people and mind your tounge.

I'm interested in hearing the excuses from those who voted yes.
Link Posted: 7/21/2008 8:35:15 AM EDT
So many say they wouldn't, yet so many do.

True.

Much of faithfullness comes from not putting yourself into a "sticky situation".

Its hard sometimes.........willpower is tested........many fail.

divorced here.

Hellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll......NO.

I have a woman who loves me dearly, takes good care of me, puts up with my quirks and twisted sense of humor, and has two kids who enjoy spending time with me, and who I love dearly. Now why would I possibly want to screw THAT up?

Link Posted: 7/21/2008 9:00:19 AM EDT
nope

Hell yes I do. Well if guns, cars & computers count...but I use protection esp w/ the guns! (hearing and eye you sickos!)

ETA: LOL @ the other 33 that voted yes w/ me...unless you really you.

So, is she still your wife? Just noticing you didn't put "ex-wife" in your statement.

What do the narried swinger couples consider cheating?
Link Posted: 7/21/2008 9:05:15 AM EDT
Nope.
Link Posted: 7/21/2008 9:05:25 AM EDT
What if she allows me? (I voted yes because it comes as close to 'allowed to' as it stands)

What does this mean? Your wife actually tells you she doesn't mind you hooking up with other women? Why be married then?

I would never cheat on my wife. I have dated more than one woman at a time, but all of the relationships were very casual and nonexclusive on either part.
Link Posted: 7/21/2008 9:17:52 AM EDT
Looked, commented, but never touch
Link Posted: 7/21/2008 9:20:01 AM EDT
I chose 'no' only because there was no 'HELL no' option.
Link Posted: 7/21/2008 9:45:36 AM EDT
Sadly, I know too many people who have cheated & a few who continue to cheat. Just makes a person sick.
