[ARCHIVED THREAD] - disabling safe-mode

well the title says it all.
tried to install a program and it said it was unable to install cause safe mode
how do i disable safe mode?

windows xp

click start then shutdown. then restart computer. if a menu pops up select boot NORMAL mode
