Inexpensive but good quality camera (<$200; at least 3.2 megapix).

If you can't recommend, what would be a good website to go to for digital cam reviews.

Thanks in advance.

HP photosmart SUCKS!!!

I bought the 635, 2.1Mp....takes horrible pictures. I strongly recommend against the HP ones now.

Canon cameras consistently rank among the top.
I just picked up a new A95 (5.0 megapixel) camera and I love the thing.  It's not a micro-compact like the smaller Canons, so it takes AA batteries and Compact Flash cards.  Just about right.
Whoever suggested the A75 is right on the money for 3+ megapixels.

I can recommend the Kodak Easyshare C or CX series.
For $100.00 (or less), CX 7300 is 3.2 mp, 3x digital zoom basic point & shoot. I have been very impressed with it.
For $150.00, CX7330 is same camera with 3x optical zoom.
There are other models with more features.

SONY do great cameras… I've dragged my DSC-S85 around half of Europe for a couple of years, including up a few mountains and Glaciers, and it has never let me down.

The Sony Cybershot DSCP73 4.1MP will fit your bill, we hand these out to the Military reporters going out to the Gulf and places. They have it listed on Amazon for $199

Also, like all SONY Digital Cameras it can also take long movie clips. You can get 10 minutes of 640x480 VGA quality video on a 256MB memory card.
