on a online aplication for a job it asked me my typing speed..i took a online typing test (on a different sight) to see...i only got 40 Words per minute...i was like WTF??? so i had someone read it to me (i can type with out looking a the key board kind of but i need to look down once in a while...so anyway my second try i did 69... so anyway what is a decent speed in the white collar world??? |
About 40 for nonclerical work. I do medical transcription and I type 105 words a minute. |

i think the test i used took off points for errors too, which if you did not notice from my post i have the spelling skills of a 2ng grader... not sure why, i graduated college with honors, just could never spell...if it wanst for spell check my profesors might have caught on that im actually a dumb ass
