Thanks

Duh...opiate of the masses and all that.
You believe in an arbiter of right and wrong, instead of subscribing to flimsy popular, and everchanging morality and accepting God as the supreme, instead of the all powerful state.

These poor children are just trying to make sense of their world based on what they're told by adults.  Since they're being taught that one can't necessarily judge what's real by observation, they're left trying to figure out who is lying.  Unless somebody sets them straight, they'll be left struggling with that for years if not the rest of their lives.

I found it funny and cute, I guess i must be a grandmother stucking in the body of a 20 year old man.

oh and by the way, I'm an agnostic bordering on atheist

Good grief.  It's kids saying funny stuff.  I doubt so many people would be worried about mass psychological damage or what board it was posted in if someone edited all of them to say Santa rather than God.

Or the Easter Bunny.  Or Britney Spears for that matter.

My parents raised me to believe in God and I had some crazy questions when I was a kid but it didn't leave me all weird and dysfunctional for my entire life.  I also asked questions like, "Why is the sky blue," "What makes rain," and "What makes the wind blow?"  Kids ask lots of questions and say lots of crazy stuff.

They're not just miniature adults.

And yes, I thought some of these were funny.  Maybe that makes me charter member of the American Association of Retired Grandmothers Who Have Too Many Cats or something.

Dear Flying Spaghetti Monster,

Thank you for not smiting the poor misguided Christians who offend you, not out of malice, but soley due to ignorance of your true ways.

And don't punish the Alfredians too harshyly. They mean well.

"I am American.  What are  you?"

This is the correct forum.   So STOP BITCHING ABOUT WHICH FORUM IT IS IN

Nothing like what kids think/say/ask.  just like kill-9 explained above.  They want ONE Truth, and when they are told different things by different people, the assume somebody is lying.  to wit:  Edison inventing the light bulb note

Kids catch everything, it is amusing at times, sometimes embarrassing, and sometimes they knock you off your feet with a question you can't really answer without conflicting with something else...

Geeze! it's not (really) even ABOUT God... I mean I think it should show in the other forum TOO... (because since it's a tech forum THERE folks don't have to be concerned about the "unruly" GD... so some now SKIP GD, and might miss it otherwise. But it's cute.. if anyone starts preaching, THEN you can "gripe" - 'kay? But I think it belongs here (for now). (FWIW)
