Traded a guy for Springfield 1911 like new in box. Everything was packages like new still

Met up with guy opened box item looked good so I completed trade.

Got him pulled new in box pistol out of box to examine it. Hammer was back and I went to drop the hammer, when I had a thought of the recent ND,s on this forum.

So I racked slide and a shiny brass cartridge popped out.  I mounted it in a place of honor and a memento of why the 4c are important.

Stays safe!

I had my brother's Browning B80 in my possession once upon a time. Can't even remember why I had it.

We were going to the old Pomona gun show and he wanted to sell it so he told me to bring it.

We met up and I was getting it out of my truck to give to him. He was standing there with the muzzle pointing at my tailgate and asked it it was unloaded. Of course, says I.

He works the action and ploop, 12 ga round flies out. I will never forget that. Dumbass me!
