www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/[email protected] mydoom removal tool |
| Using IE, go to security.symantec.com and run their online virus scan. |
i just downloaded that, ran it once, restarted the computer, then ran the mydoom removal tool AGAIN. both times it scanned everything on the computer and said "mydoom not found" but my internet explorer is still really fucked up and not running right, and i did a system restore before i did the mydoom removal tool download. if the mydoom virus wasnt on the computer, why would my computer have the pop-up warning of it and why is internet explorer still so screwed up ??? |

unhook your cable or dsl modem. backup your information to cd. verify your data is backed up on another system. reinstall widowz. install XD service pack 2. then install antivirus 12 month free antivirus |

I use IE with okay results. I've got Firefox on this machine, I don't use it very often though. I think I got one of those W32mydoom things last year via an E-mail attachment, I had to go into the registry and delete all the stuff it exempted me from using. It added a bunch of commands in there that restricted access to any anti virus software or website. Sucked ass. |
Lol. Looks like some of the computers I have to clean on occasion. I really love the second tool bar. That's a bitch to remove. |
