The volume on my laptop doesn't work. Sometimes it works briefly then quits working for days. Maybe a loose wire/connection? Where would I find this connection or how can I fix it?

have you tried reinstalling the drivers?
the soundcard is built in on your laptop no wires to plug or unplug
