I moved to a new house, I had wifi and transferred service (with a bump up in speed), att gave me a new modem...I connected all computers, everything works great.....except.. now my main computer cannot "see" my epson workforce 845 printer. The printer is connected to the wifi (print page verifies "excellent" connection). I reinstalled all drivers..no luck, I reinstalled all firmware..no luck..I hardwired the printer to my computer (ethernet?)..no luck.
Any ideas? Thanks for the responses |

You might consider resetting the printer to its factory default settings and then going through an installation as if it were a new printer.
I did that with a Brother printer recently (that had somehow stopped responding over the network) with good results. You'd have to look up how to reset the printer in its manual... |

So the printer is on wifi now, or is connected to the PC via Ethernet cable? Is the PC on wifi?
If connected via Ethernet directly to the computer, I'm not certain that the PC (or printer) will notice each other properly. If connected to the wifi, have you tried adding the printer via Printers and Devices? There may also be network drivers for your printer. |

Both the printer and the computer are connected to the same wifi (computer I am using now, printer tests positive for wifi- with daughter's computer getting prints) on this computer- a "add device, search for new device..gets nothing. I then connected this computer through hardwire to printer....still not findind it I will do a search on epson for a network driver ..but since other computers on my network are able to print, I am thinking it is some glitch in this specific computer |

I wouldn't expect a printer to have issues, but lots of stuff is locked down in the firewall if it's public, and changing a router can make windows 7 and later change to public. |
