| Anyone get "The Week" magazine? this last edition has an article in the back called "Why more guns won't make us safer". It's the usual stuff, but what makes it interesting is a picture of a bin full of handguns from a "buyback" program. The people get $100 for any gun they turned in. Most of the stuff is junk, but the gun right at the top is unmistakeably a Luger. I cringed. My guess is it was stolen from someone's collection and turned in by whoever stole it. Another piece of history lost so someone people can feel "safe"... |
