A 15 seer ac unit in 2011 which was pretty high level seer unit back then - saves me money every month.

Fishing poles for my kids. Hours of fun outside in the warmer months.

Leatherman Wave. I don't care about his politics. People with better politics don't make multitools as good.

FPNI.
Serious answer, probably my F-150. I can’t count the times that having a good truck has solved a problem for me. Hell, I used it to pickup new free bedroom furniture and a Tempur Pedic bed just today. Couldn’t have pulled that off in a Civic. |

Got a great deal on my 99 Hardtail Strat. It's the one guitar I'd have a hell of a time giving up if I had nothing else to sell. http://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL280/1814166/3495332/410066344.jpg View Quote how tf am I supposed to do dive-bombs? |

As far as a worthwhile purchase (as opposed to buying something really cool just to play with) I'd say it's my MacBook Pro. It's a mid-2009 model and runs better and faster than any of the three PC's in my house, and they're all less than a year old.
Unfortunately the new Turbotax won't run on it this year so I'm getting ready to buy a new one out of necessity, but it's 9 years old and runs like a frigging top. A laptop that ran trouble free for 9 years (and still does). I definitely got my money's worth. |

Piece of ass? Because the divorce was waaaay cheap compared to the marriage. Edit-divorce-edit

Having my left, big toenail removed.
Can't wait to have it done to my right one, once it grows out from the injury, that sent me to the podiatrist in the first place. |

Two hundred dollars for "Hooked on Phonics", then teaching my children to read prior to their entry into kindergarten.

Best dollar I have ever spent...
I toured the track at Daytona. |

Wife’s culinary degree. Went from being a very good cook to an amazing one. It kickstarted ideas for us not only for recipes, but in lines of work.
I even work in the food marketing field now. |

Honda walk behind lawn mower. That damn thing starts by the second pull no matter what. Yeah, my lawn is small.... other than that, hookers and carb free proteins....
