Still pretty funny though! I had a pan handler nearly stalk me once with a "Will work for food sign" so I handed him a banana and he turned it down claiming to be on the Atkins Diet.

One guy down here got the mega burrito and a coke from some guy in front of me the other day.

The smileys on the sign were a nice touch, as well. They show he's optimistic about getting those Kung Fu lessons. He's coping with his loss.

I saw the same panhandlers downtown this summer while visiting some old office pals as I used to see when I worked downtown a few years ago.

Perhaps if they got creative like this man, they'd fare better.

Funny picture!

We had a vagrant here back in the 80's who used to stand on a busy street corner with one of those signs. He had ragged clothes, a stubbly beard, and a shopping cart filled with junk. One day when he thought no one was looking he pushed his cart back into a thick stand of trees near the intersection and drove out in a late model Chevy Silverado with custom wheels. I laughed my ass off.
