[ARCHIVED THREAD] - avatar issue

i'm having issues trying to upload an avatar. Its an 80x60 GIF and every time I try to upload it I get this: "Your file is an invalid type."

I've tried with the image as a jpeg and png and it still doesn't work.. I cant figure out what I am doing wrong..

Its also a 2kb picture.. hmmm
