| do you drink it ? |
| Yes, but not "sweet". I prefer the "unpasteurized"? stuff that will work over time. I like to throw it in the back of the fridge for a month to 5 weeks before drinking. Then it is perfect. There is some inconsistency from year to year, but my father makes some of the best hard cider I have ever tasted. |

I live in New England. Cider is mandatory.
You have to buy it at a farmstand to get the unpastuerized cider. Anything sold is stores is unpasteurized. They say the taste is the same, but they are full of it. It has a nice fresh bite if it is not pasteruized. I'm not into "aging" it or anything. I also like mulled cider in the winter. Hot with all the spices in it. I had mulled cider at my Wedding in October and it was a hit. |
