I have a private mail box. I've used it for years, mainly for the same reason you describe.
For a few years, the DMV even let me register my vehicles and have that address on my drivers license. I guess they didn't like that after 9/11 and made me change it to my physical address. I didn't get a USPS post box, as UPS won't deliver to these. My private mailbox costs me $6 a month, payable six month at a time. |

damn, that sounds about perfect, and the ups thing is exactly why I won't get a usps one.
not too expensive if they're all in line with what you're paying. |
