With the new mpg requirements I doubt any car maker will want to bring their entire lineup mpg down by introducing a niche model like that.
I would love to have one, but unfortunately politics and various of other garbage at play makes it impossible for us to enjoy these. |

They are very popular over here. I would definitely like to have one, eventually. I'll have to see if they are available in the Philippines. If it's like other Toyota products, there is probably a hefty mark-up.
ETA: Just checked. They are available under special order. 3 year old 2012 goes for just south of USD70K.
