Left it in the car while went in to polling place. It is illegal to carry into a polling place in TN.

No. Carrying in a polling place in FL is illegal regardless of its location. CWL doesnt over-ride that. Have to leave it in the truck when I run in.

No carry here in the land of virtually no crime (LA County). However, I was wearing my new HK Anti-terrorist t-shirt to ward off any evil do-ers! The registration broad gave me a funny look but I figured she didn't want to go there.

Well my Voting location was in a church and I certainly have no scruples about carry in a house of worship, but FL law doesn't allow for legal carry at any government sponsored event. Had to go cast my votes with out a bullet launcher close at hand (and the church is in dem- hostile territory!). The Horror...the horror... .

NY? PUUULEAASSSE! Not only was it a school, but to carry concealed, you must meet "requirements" either that you carry a certain amount of money a week in receipts or that you are in fear of your life and can prove threats.

Us mere mortals cannot own and carry for our protection, that's why we have the highest paid cops in the nation to protect us! Its working too, I'm not dead by a crack head yet!

I was carrying, but I was in uniform prior to going to work as a Deputy, so I can do that...otherwise, we unfortunately do not have concealed carry in this state.

I break the law everyday - why should Election Day be different?

Why in the world would I take into consideration a law, created by people I dispise, over my own self protection?

Justifying my idealisms on this issue would be tantamount to my advocation of 'keeping my hands and arms inside at all times' - its for MY self preservation.

Armed while going to vote? You bet! Ankle holsters (one on each), double shoulder holsters, one pistol on each hip, one in the small of my back, and a friggin bazooka taped to my forehead.

If there's one occasion in life, one time where being armed is essential, one moment in time where your very existance is so threatened we all know it's going to vote.

For the next election, I'm hoping a petition for a special voting method will go through....it's sort of the best of both worlds. I would like to have a special ballot that is hoisted up AT LEAST 200 yards away from me, that I can actually shoot my selections out of the ballot with a scoped rifle. That way I stay armed AND at a safe distance.

Sometimes I forget how good we have it here in Indiana. I just thought 'Of course I was carrying, why wouldn't I??'. I truly weep for you guys in states with shitty carry laws.

I don't have my CHL, yet. So, no I was't carrying. However, I did check the regs after getting home. Polling places are on the "No Carry Allowed" list. The reason that I even looked was due to the fact that they asked me to remove my coat and leave it on the other side of the room. My inclination was to tell the to screw off. Especially when I realized that I was the only person they asked. Just because I was wearing a trench coat (it was cold by TX standards) and looked pissed off (I always do when I wake up from a nap) and still wear a short flat-top (I've been accused of looking like a skinhead) is no reason to be afraid of me.

No, the voting precinct was at a school.

BUT, in the nearby city of South Bend a UNIFORMED, ON DUTY police officer was temporarily barred from voting because he had a VISIBLE sidearm. He was asked to leave it outside which he refused to do. After calling several police and election officials, he was finally allowed to vote. Full story at South Bend Tribune local news.

Glock 30, 10rd reload, (20rds 185gr Golden Sabre), Cold Steel voyager tanto, Spyderco Delica, and two daughters (10years and 7 months). There was a uniformed Deputy at the polling place, a fire station. Very friendly attendants. No waiting. Even offered to hold the baby while I voted. I exercised several rights.

Chalk me up as another Floridian who wasn't supposed to, but did anyway. I honestly totally forgot, and being that I was on my motorcycle, it would have been rather difficult to "leave it in my vehicle", at least without someone seeing me and getting upset.

No, I wasn't carrying because Minnesota doesn't allow me to. However I will be carrying next election because our REPUBLICAN governor, REPUBLICAN house, and our pro-gun senate will vote in a carry bill in the upcoming session!!!

I don't actually carry a "permit" because I consider my "permit" to be the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution!!!!!! Being forced to carry a so called "permit" infringes on my right to bear arms!!!
