I made fixes the other day and have been monitoring the site for a few days now. I have a few more changes to implement in order to improve performance, but also made a number of changes already.

Please let me know if the site is slow (make sure it's NOT your network connection to the site), as fast as before, or somewhere between. Try to give a quality analysis if possible. Comments such as, "it sucks" doesn't help me. Add traceroutes or pings if need be.

The server load has been cut a decent amount already, but still not what it had been at during it's peak performance. I'll be putting in the final changes soon to try to hit that mark again.

OK GB, I'll be the first to respond. I have
absolutely NO idea how much you've helped. Our
DSL has been in & out here for the last two
weeks. At times you're running [b]REALLY[/b]
fast. Other times I'm sure it's our ISP.

I thought it was my imagination, but things [i]do[/i] seem to load faster since the upgrade. However, let me be the first to say that the pics on the "Babe of the Day" folder are still taking just too damn long to load. Oh, do I have to be a member to get the auto-scrolling feature? P.S. my secretary wants to know about thumbnails...

Yes I noticed a improvement in speed, things seem to load faster.

Definitely seems faster. I do seem to have a problem with some pages being much wider than others. Most pages I can read just fine but then iwill get a group where I have to scroll back and forth sideways to read. I am using Netscape 6, I don't know if the problem is me or not.

I found out that if I reload the wide pages they come up normal. Still don't know where the problem lies.

Seems much faster for me. Just click and go.
Trace route shows 15 hops, double what it used to be. Overall alot smoother than it was 9 months ago. Thanks GoatBoy...

I think it may have helped regarding Netscape crashes, too. It's been pretty bad for a few weeks now, but I didn't notice any last night -- I hope it wasn't random chance.

I've a got a problem and I don't know where it lies.

At home, I can not log in and stay logged in. Sometimes, I can log in and I will stay logged in provided it was my first try and I was successful. Other times, I can not ever get logged on. Still other times, I am constantly being logged off after logging in and making a post. Very frustrating.

I am constantly cleaning the cache files. Any suggestions?

Nearly back to best speed here. Definite improvement, and no probs to speak of.
Patiently waiting for search function, etc., and rest of content from old site to be transferred. I know you're very busy.

Pushing up some fixes now...

The search is back, but in limited fashion and I made another round of speed increases to the site... (Not sure how big of an impact it will make.)

A few minor fixes to go before I can focus on other stuff, but sounds good so far with speed issues.
