I have a close friend who is looking to buy a Bummer (Hummer knock off kit car that looks like a Hummer) that is 4-door. He has asked me to find it for him since he is not web savvy. I am having no luck. [b]Please Help[/b] |

You mean someone would actually build a FAKE Hummer? Jeez, that kinda reminds me of the kit cars of the `70's where you made a VW look like a Ferrari. Looks like crap, and performs about the same. I'd own a real one, but my friends would laugh me out of the state if I had a fake! |

Natty, The reason you can't find the Bummer kit anymore is that the owner sold the rights to it to GM several years ago. GM didn't want the Bummer kit to compete with the Hummer H2 and subsequently stopped making the kits. I understand the the original Bummer owner is coming out with a new kit, but I don't think its ready for prime time. Perhaps check the 4x4 boards at Pirate4x4 and Fourwheeler.com. Regards, Merlin |
