I am sorry to post this so late, but I got back yesterday, PM and have been busy ever since at work.....yes Sunday too![:)]
Every time I get together with board members I am always very pleased to see "old" friends and to meet new ones!
I would like to encourage everyone to make an effort and attend these shoots when they are within your travelling range and you have the time off.....they are worth every mile. The experience will give you hope in the human race again!
While I cannot mention everyone because of space and time restrictions,I want to thank everyone who attended this fun filled event.
Despite the lack of time I must give special thanks to :
CAMPYBOB, for putting BULLETFEST together and for devoting innumerable hrs of hard work, before and after the shooting.
Helldog 40,Bobby and Frank Squid, for being gracious hosts to me.
They cooked for me,made coffee, set up one of their own tents so I would not have to do it when I came in at night, shared their food,drinks,9/11 material, great stories and company.
To top all that, at the end gave me their AR15.com,NY detachment flag [:)]
I was thrilled to spend the weekend in the company of these fine gentlemen, and honored to find out(not by his telling me either)that Helldog 40 spent 13 weeks at Ground Zero searching through the rubble with his iron worker brothers!
Ben Dover and his wife, for allowing us to get together at his campsite to have a great relaxing time at night.Even a "refreshing" dump into the river[rolleyes]
Ed Sr out.....and back to work![:)]
