Washington, DC - BSNN - In a surprise news conference early this morning, a jubliant President Bush announced that US Special Forces operating in Afghanistan had captured Osama bin-Laden, the leading suspect in the September 11 terrorist attacks. Bush said the capture took place in southern Afghanistan near the Taliban spiritual capital of Khandahar.
A US Special Forces unit lead by Captain Hugo Ballsey was acting on intelligence data provided by a Russian Spetsnaz unit who had been opertating in the region. The US and Russian units, acting in cooperation, located bin-Laden and his entourage in a cave system in the hills outside Khandahar. After a brief exchange of fire, the troops were able to capture bin-laden and several of his top leutenants unharmed.
Spetsnaz Prisoner Extraction Specialist Private Ivantinan Grabbim said that bin-Laden was found hiding in a corner, clutching a Afhghan airways ticket to and a forged US passport. A large bar of soap and a shaving kit were also found nearby.
Defense Department soures said bin-Laden was immediatley removed from Afghani territory and taken to an undisclosed location. DoD sources also said that US military operations were continuing against targets in....[/b]

One day soon we will wake to such a headline, and here is my question: If we get to bin-Laden [i][b]before[/b][/i]we have taken apart the Taliban and "terrorist networks" do we keep on going? And against who? And for how long?
