As I pointed out to my friend, kill-9, philosophically these dirt-bags are already in the stone age however they have some products created by productive men that we need to deprive them of. Electric power, AK-47's, indoor plumbing, etc.

Well guys, IT HAS BEGUN indeed. Now we actually get to see how many terrorist are already here in the US. You know that with this strike, these lil terrorists cells that are already here will be activated and hopefully flushed it before they do anything substantial.
On a side note I think that this will rally "The People" behind GW and his entire cabinet. If this continues, you what that mean. GW in 2004. Secondly, it will take some focus away from gun laws and maybe forgo re-signing of the AW ban. [fingers crossed] |

Update: Looks like there was a small earthquake in L.A. after the attacks. Just a weird coincidence. Also, FoxNews is reporting that a second wave of attacks just went thru, and most of them hit Kandahar, and also hit the PERSONAL residences of some of the Taliban leaders. Get Some! Did anyone else get a tingle up your spine and a big smile on your face when you heard of the strikes? I sure did. Maybe it was the same feeling the WWII generation felt when US troops started walking up the islands toward Japan. It is a good feeling knowing that some feeble terrorist is cowering in his foxhole or in a cave.
LET THE BEATINGS BEGIN!!! I hope we get to bitch slap bin Laden before he is eaither put to death or locked up.... Bush, again, gave a great speech. Same with Blair. JRB |

These started their lives as Russian ZSU-23s, which are radar guided, where the guns are slaved to the radar to knock down whatever radar target the operator selects. I imagine that the Taliban was unable to maintain the radar part, and dismounted the guns from the ZSU vehicles. I have seen news footage of these things mounted in the back of pickup trucks, like the "technicals" used by the Somalis. I like the S.O.D.'s response to the reporters..."I am disinclined to comment on actions that are on-going." when a reporter asked if any troops were on the ground. THese anti-everything except "free speech" reporters are killing me with their questions!
They must not realize the eneny watches CNN too!! I am all for government disclosure AFTER the fact of a mission. I don't want the reporters filming troops landing at a beach where the enemy can know what's going on. |
