They are staging a protest across the street from work. I am so ashamed this is freaking conservative Tennessee. Volvos are everywhere even old school buses I am afraid to step outside for fear that they are contagious. I HATE HIPPIES

Everyone has their vises my friend. I guess the very fact that you notice more people being open about pot is because the Govt is loosing the "Will of the People" when it comes to that issue.

Holy shit, not AGAIN? WTF is it this time? I swear, I hate those fucking hippies. That damn plant is the main cause of our freedoms - hell, many of them wouldn't be alive if it weren't for Y-12 and K-25 producing the nukes that kept us from losing millions of men invading Japan. They literally (and I mean literally) owe their lives to that plant.

Of course, many of them are also union pukes looking for an opportunity to bash Bush and the military.

In case you didn't know it, Sig and I (well I don't anymore as of last Saturday) work at a call center selling insurance - right across the street from the Oak Ridge National Laboratories, where they built the first A-bombs, and still make all the weapons grade plutonium for our nukes.

There's always some fucking hippie protest going on over there. They even were kind enough to provide an area for them to do it. I've always thought it would be cool to booby-trap that area and just wait for the next protest.

Sigh.

It's funny, in downtown Ann Arbor they make up quite a bit of the population.

I remember a dirty, hemp wearing, Barefoot chick begging for change on the same
street that i was enjoying a Coke. I paid no heed untill I noticed a new Mercedes Benz CLK model pull up along side her and an older yuppie looking woman rolled down the window and said: "Amy it's time to go home." "Amy" reluctantly got off her ass with a pained look, got in shotgun, and they took off.

Annoying at the worst, Ineffectual at Best.
