What's the soonest I can apply a second coat of paint?

I'm painting my bathroom ceiling, and unfortunately forgot primer (hardware store is a bit of a drive). So I went ahead and put on a first coat of paint, but obviously need to go back over it again.

I'm using the textured paint. I don't want to be painting at nine o'clock this evening, so I'd like to get the second coat on quickly. What's the least amount of time that I can wait till I put on more paint?

about ten to twenty minutes to let it semi-dry
then go ahead with the second coat.

are you sure about that jj? if it's a textured paint and isn't quite dry enough, the second coat could leave all kinds of unsightly brush, roller, marks.
