| All major news sites reporting fierce fighting. Prayers being sent for our soldiers that are in harm's way. God Bless America! |
yeah, in an earlier thread ppl were saying it's an AK. the iraqi army (not to be confused with the iraqi national guard) is with them, so it may be an iraqi. |
Dang, now that you said it,.. it sure doesn't look like an M16. All it said at Fox News was: "Nov. 8: A nightscope of U.S. forces storming the main city hospital in Fallujah, Iraq" www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,137843,00.html Okay.. but they also show this one.... Nov. 8: U.S. soldiers walking down a corridor after storming Fallujah’s main hospital ![]() Definitely an AK. Probably a photo of an Iraqi soldier fighting with United States forces. |

# The Iraqi 36th Special Operations Battalion are considered the toughest, most capable and loyal of all Iraqi security forces and inserting them into Fallujah before any American ground troops arrive puts an “Iraqi face” on the entire operation. # A U.S. military official said there are concerns about “inflated civilian casualty figures,” so they wanted friendly forces at the hospital. It's believed the U.S. military will place embedded western journalists at the hospital to verify casualty reports. Sounds good to me. |
awesome idea! |

Looks like they're taking the threat of booby trapped cars with IEDs very seriously. |
