I'd agree with that, but the sheer NUMBER of peopel in India should suggest that there would be some individual performers, right?? I mean, the Danish government doesn't really support sports, but the tiny little country has FAR more olympic medals than India. I seriously just don't get it. I guess the explanation has to be that they don't care -but that seems odd for a people that is obsessed with breaking Guniess Book records!  |

I wonder if the earth can feed that many people? DAMN! It seems were overfishing the sea, We have to slaughter millions of chickens etc. because of disease, add to that cows also. I just always wonder can the earth stand that many humans? Also, where are they all gonna work? Industry keeps evolving into machines doing more work with less people. What then?  Ponderous, Really ponderous!

I was listening to some guy who studies populations and he said the same thing India will over take China and China's pop will actually decrease as the rate of replacement has dropped dramatically. Actually he said in the vast number of nations it has only very few are reproducing at a rare to maintain or increase their pop. He said the U.S. is JUST above it's rate of replacement and Mexicos is actually going down. S.O. |
