I just randomly hit 5 or 6 in my playlist and frankly, they came up *faster* than I've ever seen them do before.

It's probably just your location. I was having trouble this morning getting to a lot of sites and a trace route showed lots of congestion/time-outs. It's cleared up now.

Why I asked if it was my connection or youtube...I've got high speed DSL, and some vids are taking forever to load today. I'll have to call quest tomorrow.

kids have started school. I can tell when they start in the morning and when they get out. Also during summer hours. I have Quest, but not for long.

Yes. Same here. My pings when I tracert youtube are nearly 200ms. Some movies I can't watch at all.

Glad to hear it's not just me, but I thought DSL was not supposed to slow down with the number of users online...
