In light of the recent thread and in the same vein, I'm working on some serious breakthroughs in cloning and time travel. Let's say you use my reverse time travel machine to go back in time...
You meet your wife after you're both married to each other. The date from your nuptials is up to you for the purpose of this exercise but it's clearly when you were both younger. You sleep with your past, younger wife. Is this cheating? Your wife knows it's you as well. There's no doubt in her mind, she's knows it's an older you, her husband from the future. Is your wife cheating? What would you say to your father-in-law now when he wants to meet you? (Mods that's a topical joke) :) Disclaimer: This is a lighthearted thread. While my research is coming along, I expect that I'm probably 5-7 years away from a full prototype. I have developed a time machine that only goes forward in time at regular speed. I am looking for investors. |

You're probably not having sex with the older her for a long time either...

What if she likes the future you? The past you would get upset and kill himself. The future you would lose a period of his life when he was most active becoming successful. You'd become a bum. Your wife now can't stand you. You kill yourself.
Wife meets Brad Pitt and they hit it off. Jennifer Aniston commits suicide. On and on, until no one is left in the United States. Russia takes over. |

My wife says that if current 46 year-old me goes back and has sex with 18 year-old her that's creepy and I shouldn't do that. But, if 23 year-old me (the age I was when we met) went back and had sex with 18 year-old her, that would be okay.
Also, she would not be interested in a threesome with her clone but she says it would be okay to make TWO clones of her and have sex with them. So, I've got that going for me. |
