well after i picked frtloop up from work we headed over to the local neighborhood walmart to get a broom and a couple other things. to start out with they didnt have a single dust pan in the whole store...i was left with a WTF face when i was told there were none. so we got a couple other things and headed to the sporting goods section to get a box of ammo. we usually pick up atleast one box of something everytime we go. well we stood there for about 10 minutes before someone finally called for help. another 10 minutes goes by and 2 more calls and finally "John" shows up. the same guy i usually get who helps me out. he looks at us and says "register closed" and starts to walk away. so i get a little upset and say "i want some ammo". well he wanders on over to the case, taking his time and get what i need. WWB 100 value pack 9mm. again he says "register is closed". i say that is fine, just give me the ammo and i'll pay for it up front. i guess he didnt hear me cuz he just kept walking to the front. i say again "i'll take the ammo and you can help him" pointing at another guy who has been waiting almost as long as we have. he says it'll only take a couple minutes and walks the ammo up front. i was pretty annoyed since i have walked my own ammo up front that he has given me on a couple other occasions myself. but i say no big deal and just go. so we get to the line and he gives the ammo to the cashier. he leaves and comes back about 1 minute later and says "its not that i dont trust you but can i see your ID." i say why and that i'll show it to the cashier when we get up there. he asks for it 2 more times so i give up and show him. he says ok you're good. i reply "yea...same as every other time you sell me ammo." he just walked away. its like that was the straw that broke the camels back...i was very annoyed after that. but we get our stuff and leave. my question is...should i have drawn down on him for asking for my id...  yet another wonderful trip the the local wallyworld

Well, I STILL love "Wally-World" No shit, today, I'm headin' to work and need to grab a new 25' (I wanted a 35' but they didn't have them) tape. I bank at Washington Mutual (Located inside F.G.Meyers stores here in Oregon) so I do my banking and then head for the Hard-Ware section of the store. Stanley 25' "Lever-Locks" are $19.95! Great tape but shitty price!!! I headed to WalMart and got the SAME tape for $8.95. I bought two AND, a POS Chinese 16' just to fuck with peoples heads with for what I would've paid for ONE at Fred Meyers...."Yep! I do ALL my measurin' with this here dollar-Store special" lol

Find something better. I would buy my ammo from Academy, but those fucks refuse to ship and I refuse to spend 75 bucks in gas to save 30 on ammo. |

oops...i misread that...you are correct friend. just not at 11 at night when all the whackjobs are working. not that its that much different during the day but this is the first problem i have ever had in my 4 years of going to this particular walmart. oh...and no bet
