She was exquisite
She was funny 
She reminded me just enough of my crazy ex-wife to give me pause. 
It had nothing to do with her personality. She's was very beautiful, intelligent and engaging. She had a smile and some facial features similar to my ex-wife and I couldn't stop thinking about during our dinner together. I actually had a nightmare last night envolving my ex. 
She sent a text today telling how much fun she had and she's looking forward to seeing me again. There was obviously some good chemistry going on, but I don't know if I can get past the similar looks. Am I being to hard on this woman? |

If you can't decouple the person from their looks, then the problem is on your end. Stop dating unless you get your head on straight. Next thing you know, some woman that looks nothing like your ex will "remind me of my ex's mannerisms" and cause you to bail.

Ill go out on a limb and say if you keep on seeing your ex in women your dating perhaps you need to take a break as your not completley over things. Or realize that you may be pre-disposed to women who look like her and make your peace with that. |

The issue for me is that my ex is so contentious when I pick up my kiddos every other week that it's kind of hard not to shiver when I think about her. |
