On a recommendation from a friend, I picked this up. It is surprisingly good!! Any other recommendations for decent affordable liquor? http://www.vinoge.com/files/image/new-amsterdam-gin.jpg YES! It's DAMN GOOD gin for the money. Excellent, crisp, clean taste. It's very under rated. (I'm a Hendrick's snob, but when I'm low on cash New Amsterdam is the way to go.) |

You of course are kidding! I have a bottle of that stuff and it is terrible swill!!! I won't pour it down the drain but when this bottle is empty I'm done with it!!! http://www.pbase.com/terry_56/image/137113615.jpg THIS. JTFC, there are better options. New Amsterdam just has an off flavor to it. |

I am well into getting fucked up at this point.
This stuff is getting better by the drink...... |

For $20, Milagro is a great tequila.

Kilo Kai rum. It tastes like vanilla and feels like drain cleaner.

Life is too short to drink cheap booze (that, and I can't stand gin)

Mad Dog 20/20 grape flavor was voted most drinkable at our annual bum wine party.

40 creek isnt terrible with sprite or 7 up.
It suck with water though. |

I get 750's of Evan Williams for 10 Bucks at a place in Worcester, Ma.
For that price I can chug it down...and have video of me crawling through an icy parking lot talking about how I gotta go home cause the wind is to strong. Good times! |

Or on a long, lonely hospital night shift. Yep, as close to off-the-shelf reagent grade alcohol as you get. High School fuel. I still use it for my camp stove, and for fortified backcountry cocktails. |

Southern Comfort and iced tea. Mostly So Co. Always looking for something new though.

A guy I work with has a nice decanter of Gentleman Jack on his bar- he refills it with Evan Williams.
All his friend marvel at the taste of the wonderful 'Jack'. |

Sobieski vodka. Much cheaper than Stoli and tastes better IMO.

Kirkland brand bourbon. It is actually pretty good. I'd prefer it over Wild turkey/Makers/Jim Beam.

One part Boone's Strawberry Hill, one part cheap bear. We used Coors Light or Natural Ice back in high school and called it a "Trainwreck". Good for playing quarters.

It was actually recommended by my guy at the liquor store. I am impressed. |

I've done some bad things after a couple of bottles of Thunderbird.

Jim Beam white label for bourbon.
The Boone's Farm post started me down memory lane: How about "Annie Green Spring's Plum Hollow" for some early hangover experiences? That stuff was like liquid panty remover back in the day. |
|
Buffalo Trace.
Svedka. Who ever suggested kraken rum. Yuck. That stuff was mind numbingly horrible to me. Sailor Jerry is tasty. |
