I have been offered 1200.00 for a preban Colt Competition HBAR, A3 flattop, with Detach Carry handle, Exterior is Excellent condition (98% or better). Sell it or keep it? (Proceeds would go towards another AR, prolly a Preban Bushy.)

sell it

That's pretty average. You could try to be one of those A-Holes that demands nothing less than $1700. But that wouldn't be very nice... [:K]

Even the 'not so great' brands seem to sell in the 1200. or better price range arround Michigan / Ohio and with all thats going on in this country right now... If the econimy craps out , Firearms seem to hold there value VERY well, specially those 'evil' ones.

Hold, unless the ban does not get renewed, it will lose no value. It will only piss you off if the buyer flips it to someone for $1500 wait to see what the midterm elections bring. We might all have "prebans" soon (hope)

Hang on to it a while and if you still feel you need to sell it, I will buy it from you when I have the funds.
