Ohhhhh, yeah, I know this probably a dupe....like I care! According to the Bungie web site HALO2 has gone into production and should be out for delivery in NOVEMBER!!!!!!!! Dust off the armor, boys and gas up the Warthog.....this is gonna get MESSY!!!! Ooooooooh, I can't fucking WAIT!!!!!

Haha, for some reason I thought you were saying they just started developing it. I was ready to bust in here and start calling someone an idiot. Yeah, its kinda old news that it will be out November 9th. I really cant wait to play, (dual weilding, woohoo!) I already preordered it. I belive Half-Life 2 comes out on PC right before Halo 2, November 4 I think, unfortunately, I will need a new computer to play it and all the other next-gen PC games. |

I am very sure it will be done and this time around I am sure Gearbox is on top of it. Halo for PC was an afterthought but is pretty popular and I'll bet they are either working up a deal with Gearbox or already have one. I wouldn't be suprised to see it on PC by middle or late 2005. |
| I'm not a gamer personally, but my son put a deposit on a copy. That is good news. My kid has been waiting with baited breathe for a September. He says that the supposed to be on sale in November or December. I will pass it on to him. Both my sons playing together as a team just finshed HALO1. |

I can't tell ya how many times I have played HALO........a zillion? I just finished it on legendary for the umpteenth hundred time. Probably start ANOTHER GAME TODAY. Oh, yeah!!!!! There is something about the way HALO plays, the graphics, the squeeking and the humor that makes it so friggin' addictive! |

Yeah, looks like it's been moved back ( doom3, I mean ) yet again. Well, as long as they ge the product RIGHT, that' all that matters. I, too, was disappointed with HALO for PC...but I wouldn't mind trying it on a faster system than mine...mine just barely qualifies. I like having lots of extra option with the PC but I prefer the consol gameplay....I don't like "mousing"...I know there are gamepads and joysticks out there but I have a hard time trusting those, unless they've come a long wat in thepast few years. |

I need a way to hook a keyboard and mouse up to my xbox. I can't STAND console controllers. You get better precision and more versatility with a keyboard and mouse. Edit: HOT DAMN! |

What was with the fake spring time release? I never got a straight answer. I went to EB 1 day in April, I think it was, they had a whole wall filled with Halo 2 boxes. I took one to the cashier and they told me the release was delayed. WTF kinda business plan was that? |

The release date is 11/9. not the 16th. The delay from April was because Bungie puts out games when they are done, and done right. April was never a firm release date. Two guns is still max, but dual-weilding is possible with some weapons (John Woo style). No grenades when you have a gun in each hand. The assault rifle is now the "battle rifle" and it has a zoom feature with single shots or in regular view it's a 3-shot burst. Unfortunately the pistol (one of the most powerful weapons in Halo) has been downgraded to be more balanced in the sequel. |

Halo 2 - November 9th Half Life 2 - November 16th So I will have 7 days to finish Halo 2 before Half Life 2 comes out. Too many good games coming out in the next 20 days or so. Grand theft auto 4 - Today Gran Turismo 4 Forza Motorsports Medal Of Honor: Pacific Assault - 11/16 Half life 2 - 11/16 Halo 2 - 11/9 Metroid Prime 2 - 11/16 Metal Gear Solid 3 - 11/16 Alrdy got GTA4, Halo2, and HL2 preordered. Gonna have to set aside ammo money for these games. |
damn..this is gonna get expensive. I just picked up Burnout 3, Fable, and Outlaw Golf 2 yesterday...Halo 2 and Gran Tourismo 4 are must haves, but at least I got a couple of weeks to get prepped $$ for them. |
