My wife works from home and is usually on the phone for many hours at a time as well as on the computer.
I want to get her a wireless headset for her Iphone 4. Any suggestions as to which brand and model? Thanks |

Plantronics makes really nice bluetooth headsets. A friend of mine has the Voyager.. I think it is called. I borrowed it for a weekend and it was pretty slick. I'd buy one if I had to spend time on the phone Yep. You can switch between mobile phone, landline, and PC. |

Hours/day on a cell phone? Yes it sucks but her boss pays for it. I am just trying to make it so she does not have to have the phone glued to her ear. She is usually on the phone and the computer at the same time and she is having difficulty typing while holding the phone. |

I use this one at work. Works with mobile, PC, and softphone. |
| I have an LG Tone that I use for working out or running. Sound quality is only so-so, and I don't know how it sounds to someone I'm talking to, but the battery life is really good, and it's pretty comfortable to wear. I have a Logitech H600 headset that I only use as a headphone for when I'm on my computer at home listening to music. It has a microphone, but I never use it. Only reason I have it is because I got it on sale. It's extremely comfortable to wear, music quality is very good to my half-deaf ears, but battery life could be better. |

First two posts nailed it. Plantronics Voyager UC here.
Even works great with Lync (mute/unmute in meetings, etc.). Talk time of 7 hours, and charges quickly too. Comes with a carrying case with a built in battery to charge it so it's charging as soon as you put it in your laptop bag. Also has a desk charging station. |

I spend hours a day on the phone. I have a Jabra headset on the desk phone both at home and in the office. Its a dual earpiece boom mike headset. I've been pretty happy with it. Its a wireless headset so you can get up and walk around to do other things when you need to plus both hands are completely free. I've used a number of bluetooth headset over the years. My hearing is kind of bad now so something that only has audio on one ear just doesn't work well. I use the Apple Earpods at this point when I use my Iphone. Since I changed my plan and have unlimited talk I find myself using the Iphone more and more. I wear them almost all day long at this point and the Jabra headset less and less. I will say using mute is not as easy as with the Jabra since you do it on the phone versus a button on the headset. One thing I can say about headsets. Sooner or later you will end up with several of them before you find the "ideal" headset. |

plantronics voyager legend real talk time of 7+ hours and woks with ipad laptop of cell phone.
Best Feature When you put it in your ear it automatically connects. I can be using my android phone holding it against my face and put the plantronics in my ear and it will automatically change over to earpiece. |
