Got the week off, getting a early start on my yard work, winter recovery I call it...

Mowed yesterday, today before it rains I thought I would put out some fertilizer. Used to I could spend $100 and cover my whole place....

Now that $100 covers just half....and that was with the store brand, Scotts would cost me me another $35 on top of that...., yes I know the stuff is the same..... times like this I wish I got a employee discount...

I give up....

I had thought about going back to yard care for a side job, but with costs like that, I doubt I could swing it and still have affordable rates...

Later this week, after the rains, lay out for a small ground cover garden, where to plant 2 apple trees, and lay out for small vegetable garden I will break ground on in the fall and prep for next season.
