I am really struggling with Windows 10 and the new browser (MS Edge). They really suck, IMO.
Where can I go to get some help with finding the functions I need to perform? |

Or click Start and type iexplore.exe and you get your old IE browser. I never use Edge. Like you say, it pretty much sucks. |

Either your expectations are lower than mine or you don't use as many functions (optional settings) as I do.
I'm sure some/most of the old features are there but I do not know where, how to find them or how to get help to find them. Where is the equivalent of the old <About><Help> functionality? Even the old <?> function is gone. I went to MS.com to get help and the FAQ's database on Edge is pathetic. How do I change the color scheme for EDGE? It is difficult to discriminate between tab edges because they are all light gray? Where are the tools and toolbars? How could they get this so terribly wrong? |

Different is not terribly wrong. Do like the others said and download chrome or Firefox.
Edge is fine although somewhat finicky with legacy content and plugins that are common but considered less-than-secure. I find that to be a good thing though. Shrugs. Quoted:

I don't even like Edge, I use Chrome, but I still don't know what you're whinging about. The tabs are light gray for active, darker gray for inactive, and they light up when you hover over them. Is your monitor brightness turned down too far? Do you have vision issues? Help is accessed with F1, the same as on every MS product ever. Yes, there are still features that need to be added.. Anniversary Update adds AdBlock, for one. Yes, there aren't as many settings and tabs to poke through, but the fact is that most of them weren't needed, or the settings were consolidated elsewhere. I have a feeling you're just used to seeing certain words in certain places, and get upset when they're not there. |
