This is going to be the first real week of out of town vacation in a couple of years. ( We were taking care of her mother). I cant stand it ,I can hardly wait.
The wife wanted to go to someplace neither one of us had been to. So Aruba it is . If anyone knows the wife they know she doesnt like leaving the country so this is HUGE for her.
We are going in Dec

I havent been any farther south than the US Virgin Islands so anyone got any hints ?

Ahhh, the ABC's...
Aruba, Bonaire & Curacao.... The Dutch Antilles. Architecture looks very Dutch. Kinda interesting.
Typical caribbean "paradise"....

I was there several years ago. If they still have it, there are like Jeep rental tours (well, the one I did was in a Suzuki Samurai) where you can tear ass around the desert half of the island. Lots of fun. You can drive yourself, or get a driver - if you have a driver, some of those guys haul ass like the Dukes of Hazzard.

Other than that, enjoy the clothing optional beaches.  Dutch girls can be hot.

HA HAHAH thats were she wanted to go at first. I told her I DIDNT want to waste all our time on the resort, I want to go day tripping with the locals.
She read up on the Island past times and decided she didnt want me hanging out or bring some of the locals home at night.
ARUBA it is then

The mother inlaw has been gone alittle while now so we have made up for lost time.

Living with and taking care of someone with mid late Alzheimer’s can suck the sex out of an whore house. Wife is a trooper though.

What's a "VACTION"?

Drink and screw the wife till you can't walk. Go look at a beach, then get back to screwing. Remember to stay hydrated.

What's a "VACTION ? It is the same as a vacation but your hands have to be shaking from the excitement of knowing that you and the old lady will not have any responsibilities to any other humans for at least a week.
THAT MY FREIND IS WHAT A VACTION IS  [pulpfiction] CAN YOU DIGG IT [/pulpfiction]

I enjoyed it quite a bit.  Definitely felt safe there.  Typical vacation spot.  Bars, casinos and stores.  And the beach and natural stuff to see.  It's not a huge island.

One thing that was weird was all the American food places.  Dunkin' Donuts.  Hooters.  KFC.  weird.

Arbuba?  Shee-yit.  There ain't nothin' to do in Aruba.  Might as well send me the tickets and save yourself the mind-numbing boredom.

DO what I always do on vacation.

Drink until you can't think straight, and then start thinking of things to do.

How do you think I came up with scooter snorkeling.

j/k

really though, take up drinking, its easy, and anyone can play.

Hang out on the beach.  The wind blows at a constant speed year round so you never feel too hot.  Check out the Divi Divi trees - they grow at an angle due to the wind.  Drink a few Aruba Arribas or other rum drinks.  Try drinking rum mixed in a freshly picked coconut.   Most hotels will have a casino.  Lots of shopping.  Rent motorcycles to explore the island.

Have a great time!!
