It amazes me sometimes. Supposed EXPERTS!
I purchased McGills "Tactial AR15" today and I watched it this afternoon. Larry Crow was naming parts and AR rifle styles INCORRECTLY! He's suppose to be some kind of expert. Sorry Larry, but you should have done a better job on that video.
Yeah, like that will help someone figure what they need.
Gun dealers, police officers, government officals, BATFE personnel, elected officials, video makers, supposed gunsmith experts, gun show commandos, deer hunters, black rifle owners...
WHY can't they get even the most simple things right? I am seeing this OVER and OVER and OVER lately.
Today at the gun show, I heard a gun dealer telling a guy WAY incorrect information and I felt like going up and saying, "If you DON'T know what you are talking about, SHUT UP!!!"
There was another guy telling someone else that you didn't need to go through the ATF to purchase a full auto M14.
That' it was just if you purchased your full auto from out of state.
All they do is make it harder for the gun owners to defend our Rights. Like that Google/You Tube video where the "California" SHERIFF says that fully automatic firearms are ILLEGAL! What the ??? Now, someone that doesn't know that much about firearms, but is a firearm owner, is going to tell everyone that the guy shooting the legally owned full auto, is a criminal and will probably call the cops. Or if you are shooting a legally owned full auto at the range, one of the neighbors is going to call the cops and tell them that someone is shooting an "illegal" gun, because they saw this video (sheriff) that said they are "illegal".
Sorry, but after seeing this SO much lately, it's just nuts. People become spelling nazis, but I'd think it's more important to get information correct, as to not hurt our cause than to point out..."you missed a letter".
Is it just me seeing more than normal stupidity or is it getting REALLY bad?
Rant over.
