President George Bush: 'Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter' By Robert Winnett, Deputy Political Editor and Urmee Khan Last Updated: 7:52AM BST 10/07/2008 The American leader, who has been condemned throughout his presidency for failing to tackle climate change, ended a private meeting with the words: "Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter." He then punched the air while grinning widely, as the rest of those present including Gordon Brown and Nicolas Sarkozy looked on in shock. Mr Bush, whose second and final term as President ends at the end of the year, then left the meeting at the Windsor Hotel in Hokkaido where the leaders of the world's richest nations had been discussing new targets to cut carbon emissions. www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/2277298/President-George-Bush-%27Goodbye-from-the-world%27s-biggest-polluter%27.html I'm going to miss him |

Love it! It is like the hypocrites in Europe that think we have to elect a black president just for the sake of doing it. Have the Germans ever had a black or Jewish chancellor in recent history? England? France? anyone?. No, but we have to elect one! See where I'm going with this? Everyone knows China and others are the biggest polluters, but we always get the finger pointed at us. Glad he had some fun with it. |

Yep, he rules alright. He rules a nation with skyrocketing gas prices, food prices, a housing market down the shitter, and an open southern border through which islamo-fascist terrorists can march right in. I hate Bill Clinton's guts but we were in better financial shape when that adulterous loser was president. |
And just tell me, who controls the purse strings ?? Who has the power to change things ?? thats right.......the democRATic congress. |
I'd still rather be broke with Bush than rich with Clinton |
I'd hit it. Too bad he's not a democrat. I might of had a chance...

+1 I think people really do not understand that President Bush did not sign their jumbo home loans, nor told them to live beyond their means or file for bankruptcy. People blame the President since it is easy to blame him since he has been a punching bag. The problem with the economy is larger then the Presidency, it has everything to do with Americans attitude of pay me more for less work. Then they want to buy more with less money. A large part of this is due to the media. That is magazines, advertisements, internet, MTV and what ever else they watch. Kids grow up actually believe that they should get 60k starting off. Americans believe everyone should have health care and have all these great things they see on MTV cribs. If you don't believe me look at what kids wear now a days, it is a reflection of what they see on TV. With the liberals controlling the media, they can mold your mind very easily if your parents are not involved in your life. Max |
I've got a picture of him in my cube at work, underneath I have. 4 MORE YEARS pisses-off all the Obama supporters. !

You need to do more reading. |
All of this happened after the Dems took control of congress and not before. We only thought we were in good shape with Clinton. Bill Clinton dropped turds all over the world and left Bush and good Americans with the task of cleaning them up. God, how I hate it when young liberals start posting on the web. They actually think they know what they are talking about. |

Last year some of my left wing friends in England were waiting with baited breath for another American pull out in disgrace from Iraq like in Vietnam. When the dems took control of the house and senate with the pledge to run from our obligations, one of my UK friends said, "All we are waiting for is the TV showing the helicopters leaving the rooftops". Many Republicans were also ready to throw in the towel. Bush, to his credit, ignored the peanut galley and listened to his generals despite the beating he took in the press. He pushed through tax cuts that got us out of a recession. Threw the ENRON criminals into jail. After 9/11, when much of the US was in turmoil, he gave the speech that clearly identified what path this country was going to take, thereby uniting the nation. He ousted the Taliban and set the UN straight on their responsibilities regarding Saddam and forced compliance to UN resolutions. He let the Assault weapons ban expire. And his nominees to the supreme court allowed Heller to be upheld as an individual right. (Clintons appointees all voted against it) You reap what you sow. Imagaine a Kerry or Gore Presidency instead. That should get you blood cold in anticipation for an Obama presidency. |
I never thought I'd say this, but GWB is the second-best president in my lifetime (I was born during the Nixon Administration). |

Too bad he's not a democrat. I might of had a chance...
