Should be a good night to watch. I like Brock and it'll be good to see a new batch of competitors for him.

Kimbo got beat up? By who? I haven't seen it yet. The rumor is he loses his first fight. I don't know if that means he's gone early, but since it's only heavyweights, the rules may be different this year. I'll definitely be watching. |

I am going to a UFC fight tonight. I got some free tickets, so I'm taking my 9-yo daughter.
I get easily put off by douchebags that wear TapOut clothes and have been to one jujitsu class and decided that it was too hard, and now are experts. I hardly ever watch these, so I don't know who is who. But, I do roll a few times a week in BJJ. So, I'm looking forward to seeing some (hopefully) technical ground work. |
|
Keep an eye on my friend Jon Madsen. Hell of an athlete, and an attitude to go with it. Had some epic battles with Lesnar in High school wrestling.

My wife had the chance to buy two tickets for $30 but I told her I'd rather watch it on TV. Do you mind if I ask where you train? |

Hopefully Brock Larson's fight gets aired... Dude is a tough cat.

I can't wait to see Kimbo get his ass kicked. Too bad they are not doing elimination fights.

I will be partying with one of the guys that is on it tonight. Domico Rodgers and I trained together when I was fighting. Its good to see him going places. Very polite, articulate and friendly guy. He would warm up using me to do curls before a fight or submission event. I would really like to see him win the whole thing. I have a couple pictures of him and I at a submission event from a couple years ago, I'll see if I can dig it up.

Crap....the pictures I have are only in .pdf format. Ill get some tonight when I am out!

Kimbo is all marketing hype...
he had a few good internet, backyard brawls, but really no actual trained skill. he needs to stick to bouncing for his porno buddies.... |
|
Well, hes been training with Bas and thats a good thing. Bas says he's been working hard at it. Kimbo has the tools so he MIGHT turn out OK. we'll see. I'd still rather see one of the other guys take it thats been training for years. I train BJJ once a week for four hours a night so I'd like to see a BJJ guy take it all.
|
|
At the beginning of the broadcast they say "available in HD."
Where? Regular Spike looks like shit. |

I have to say, Credour is a stand up guy. He had a lot of heart in his fight, and didn't back down. I was sorry to see him lose, but his opponent definitely earned it.
He also signed my kid's shirt after the fight and said " thank you" to her. Most of the fighters seemed to be OK guys. Most of the fans seemed to be douchebags. |

They are going to keep teasing a Kimbo fight, but I think they are smart enough to hold off on it for at least a few weeks.

But I am sure he will "accidentally" be picked near last to fight. You know, cause Rampage wants to protect his "best" fighter. |

I'm not a Quarry fan. Quarry fought well, and was humble in his victory. I liked Credeur a bit more, but overall it was a great fight. Creduer signed my daughter's t-shirt and thanked her for coming to watch the fight. Solid dude IMHO. |

Here is the cut Abe Wagner got in his elimination fight.

That was a serious elbow. That guy isnt a true fighter, he even said himself that he just does it for fun because he has a job in "real life".
