Did you see it???

What did you think????

Things I liked -

He dedicated almost the entire show to a single subject - military tribunals. Not like these other shows who give a topic a three minute segment so they can move on to the next topic.

He actually had a Constitutional discussion, and read from the Federalist papers. NO ONE ELSE is doing that.

One thing I disliked -

He had common people on, in the studio,  discussing the issue, and not the usual talking heads. which is fine, but one or two of them really didn't make any salient points. The concept might work, but it needs refinement.

ANyone else??

I tuned in during the commercial breaks of the BHD show on the History Channel.

My first impression is:  It won't work.  He's too intelligent to be released upon the prime-time viewing audience.  He read from the Federalist Papers on MSNBC for Pete's sake!

Other than that, I love the guy and hope the show sticks around for awhile.

I thought he did a great job for his first assignment. He mentioned that he was going to talk about 'gun rights" VS 'the war terrorism.' Maybe next show. I don't there is a peer  out there his equal...

I sure wish his program was on Fox - I'd never change the channel!

As it was, I was dashing between The History Channel (Black Hawk Down story) and his show.

If I had known that the History Channel was going to re-broadcast its 2-hour BHD show, I would have stayed on Alan Keyes show, and watched the BHD story later.

I'll watch it in full, next time!

Make no mistake, Alan Keyes is a Socialist Liberal Slimball in cognitio. The Liberals want us to like him so we will make him President when he runs. Then they will take over.

Ditto.

Maybe MSNBC put him on, knowing their audience (liberal soccer-moms) would tune out after five minutes.  That way they can cancel him, make him look like a failure and give more ammo to those who deride conservatives such as him as being "obviously out of step with mainstream America".

Next thing you know, CBS will put on a daily three-hour TV talk show hosted by Jeanne Kirkpatrick and Bill Bennett to discuss the history of the Non-Western geopolitical forces that influence the decline of Western Civilization in America.  They can put it in a timeslot against "Friends" and "DeathChair: The Ultimate Reality/Game Show".

Alan Keyes is a good man and not a wolf in sheep's clothing. His track record and history on the issues are there for anyone who will pay attention.  I think MSNBC is running his program because they're getting their asses kicked by FNC.  I vote for the man for President if I had the chance.

yeah. Alan Keyes is too intelligent for television, and he's not confrontational enough. He just gives clear debate. .there's no fight to watch.

I didn't like the show at all.
I love Allen Keyes, always have.

I think that whoever the producer is, is an idiot.
The format blew. The structure and pacing blew.

If he had just been dropped into Paula Zahn's old Fox show, he'd have been a hit.
This show, however, won't last if they keep this up.

In 2000, I voted for Keyes in the CT primary over GWB and that asshole McCain.

In '96, I was part of Keyes' security detail during a speaking engagement at a southern university.

Very good quality man. Unelectable, but good quality.
