We started using computerized run reports a couple of months ago, we are using the Zoll Data Systems RescueNet Tablet ePCR on Panasonic Toughbook CF-18s. At first I hated it but now I'm getting used to it. This system has some serious problems though, we have gone back to written PCRs 3 times due to programming problems. It seems to be straightened out now. Any body else using them ? How do you like them?

We started about a year and a half ago. It's not so bad once you get used to it but they just changed some things that require mandatory fields that are useless information, even if it didn't pertain to the call. We're working on getting it fixed but some dumb asshole sitting behind a desk at the state level thinks it's important to know if there was ETOH involved in every call and stupid things like that. We could cut the time in half to fill out a report if they eliminated the dumb stuff. They say that they want the information for "statistics".

It could be a great system if they get it right.

Stay safe...

We use E-Narsis... Lots of useless fields unless you want to run statistics. Not too shabby tho

On the Fire side we use Firehouse.

Finally got the computer whiz to "hard code" the fields where we specify "emergent" or "non-emergent" to the scene.

Hey, if you call 9-1-1? We light 'em up.

Got a handful of other BS problems with it, but, like most databases, I can't tell whether the problem's in the database or the applications engineer on site.

Where I work we use Intermedixes Triptix software on Toughbooks.
You can even upload them to the internet and finish them at the station, do addendums, etc.
It took some getting used to, but I like it.
