i am.

i have switched to "Simply Sleep", which has the sleeping drug, but no actual Tylenol... to save my liver.

i can't sleep without it.  my mind RACES, i can't relax, i can't stop thinking about life.... reliving past memories/horrors.

i have no idea what I would do without it.

any body else?

melatonin
take it half an hour before going to bed. Avoid bright lights after you take it.
Mind will be relaxed and you'll be able to fall asleep faster.

Got a walgreens near you?

They have nature's bounty stuff on sale this week, buy one get one free.
And you can get a coupon for $2 off a bottle at naturesbounty.com

So you can get them really cheap this week.

I got the 3mg bottles, split some of them in half so I could vary the dosage from night to night (so the body doesn't get used to a certain dosage).

Don't need to take it anymore though.

Doesnt make him addicted in my eyes, sounds like a medical condition that needs to be fixed, stress is a bitch.

He is addicted or he would be able to sleep without them.  He is beyond medical condition.  He has a physical and a psychological need for them to sleep.  Thats the definition of addiction.

yup.    but it ain't so bad.

it also takes the edge off life.... you know those last few hours of the day... when everything just weighs down on you... and you can't help but wish for more.... and you just want a moment of peace.

all the stress, and frustration, and regret.... it all just fades away.

ahhhhhhhh.

I'm not trying to say it as a put down, as sleep related meds aren't something like crack, just that not being able to sleep without taking them fits the definition

that's the reason I've never tried sleeping pills, I'm sure I'd end up becoming dependent on them, either physically/chemically or behaviorly

we're all addicted to something, I'm not claiming to not be, and didn't mean my posts to sound like a put down as I wasn't trying to do that
